Teaching of our mentor

Why should we pay homage to the Dharma? Because when you pay homage to it, you can blend yourself with the meaning and state of it, have affinities with it and be accessible to it naturally. That is the reason why we need to pay homage to the Dharma. The benefit of paying homage to it is like this. I hope everyone can remember it.
Whether others are humble or not, we should always keep humble. We should remember definitively that humility is the best tool to conquer people; arrogance is the self-intoxication of foolish people.
Why are they called the Flower Adornment or Dharma Flower? The Flower Adornment means adorning, like flowers, the path of the Buddha. Bodhisattvas adorn the path of the Buddha just like flowers. Dharma Flower means only when there is the Dharma, can the flower of enlightenment bloom.
Praise our mentor
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you are benevolent without the desires of the five senses and you are a wiser who benefits every beings without conflict with them.
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you have blended the Dharma with the daily life, revealed the principle of dhyana in accordance with the place, time and the capacities of sentient beings and enlightened the sentient beings according to various occasions arising.
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you have taught us the way to behave:” The benevolent people bullied by others will not be bullied by God; the evil people frightening others can’t make God frightened. The foremost cleverness is absolutely no match for the kindness of the heart.
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you have enlightened us:” At the moment of showing off, you make others disgusted, harm yourself and ruin the good conditions.”
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you admonish us repeatedly that we should never be arrogant or overdo it, and we should always be cautious, or we will fail.”
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have taught us tirelessly. You have taught us: “Although somebody who understands the kindness wanders on the path of Birth and Death, their roots of good merit are still solid; while if someone is ungrateful, their roots of good merit are to be destroyed and they are to do the evil karma. The one who feels the kindness is happy, surrounded by love and self-improvement. A person who doesn’t understands the kindness is worse than a beast.”
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor. I can’t express your magic because a myriad of my thoughts and ideas can’t match up to one of your slight wisdom words which enlightens me at once; I tried hard to keep myself free from the feverish irritable delusion, but what I have done can’t match up to your excellent manifestation which makes my irritable delusion off and makes me extremely cool and joyful.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you are the only one that can save me. You feel pity for me who have been in the firing house which is full of various sufferings, terrible and without any peace and joy. countless times, I woke up from the nightmares, it was you who came to save me compassionately. The sea of suffering has no boundary and I possibly lose my life at any time. May our Kind Mentor pity and protect me so that you can cut off my evil irritable delusion, make me realize my true nature, cease my suffering, attain the pleasure and the path of the Buddha quickly.
