Not only the objects but also everything, including your body and mind, will become ruined quickly as a result of gossip, so you cannot gossip about others. Everything that belongs to you will be destroyed due to it.
The origination of condition is very important. The good condition can result in all peace and serenity while the bad condition can lead to all hatreds and sufferings.
If all sentient beings are skilled in pleasing others by means of applying skillfully their minds, appearance, speech and behaviors, attending and making offerings to them, then they can create the long-lasting and excellent condition, otherwise it will be hard for them to generate good feeling between each other.
If the condition is not so good, you will not be able to remember the Dharma, nor will you be able to make it grow. It is good if it does not die, or worse, most will die out. Being good at arising conditions is extremely important because everything cannot come into being alone but only through the various conditions.
Praise the Kind Mentor
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because keep myself always in caution set alarm bells ringing for myself- “If you want others to treat you better all the time, it will be easy for you to make offence of deception.”
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you have bestowed upon us the knowledge of air pollution, water pollution, food pollution, medicine pollution and various kinds of pollution which startled us and made us frightened. However, you do everything to free us from sufferings and to bring bliss for us. I sincerely appreciate all you have done for us.
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you have rid me of false views and improved my confidence- “If you are in the control of affliction, it will become limitless and innumerable and you will be in its hands for eternity; if you do not follow the affliction, it will become limited and you can be the master at ease quickly. If you transcend it, you will be fine; if you don’t, you will put yourself at the mercy of it forever.”
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because what you have said accords with benefitting others, the Dharma, extinguishing the affliction and the merits and virtues of nirvana, and doesn’t accord with non-benefitting others, the non-dharma, the increase of the affliction, the corruption of birth and death. The sentient beings like us should consider you as the Buddha.
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you, like Shakyamuni Buddha who did not forsake the sentient beings in the defiled world, are willing to enter the troubled world to accompany sentient beings who are like disgusting maggots, and save us with great compassion and persistence.
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, because you are possessed of such mind of wisdom and great perseverance as below: “Consider the evil words as merits and virtues and treat the person who speaks these evil words towards me as my good adviser. We should not take those who compliment or slander us as our friends or foes, which cannot manifest the power of the anon-arising kindness and perseverance.
I praise you endlessly, our Kind Mentor, you can inspire the sentient beings at easy. How excellent and precious you are!
I praise you and are grateful to you, our Kind Mentor. May all sentient beings have perfect affinities with you. May they respect and believe you in such a way they treat the Buddha, follow you only and achieve quickly.
