In adoration of the Guru, a being of unparalleled virtue and wisdom, whose profound understanding of the Dharma is as vast and deep as the ocean, illuminating the minds of all beings and guiding the lost back to the right path. Their conduct is as pure and untainted as a lotus emerging from mud, their compassion as vast as the sky, benefiting all sentient beings.
Having formed a profound connection with the Medicine Buddha, their heart is filled with the highest aspirations and boundless compassion. Their Dharma body is one with the Tathagata, transcending form and mind, and free from worldly entanglements. With a snap of their fingers, they can master the eighty-four thousand Dharma gates, and in an instant, eradicate the karma of the Avīci hell. Their miraculous powers are truly beyond description.
Engaged in spiritual practice, they neither cling to form nor formlessness, but cultivate the four boundless states of mind. Their hearts are like empty space, encompassing all sentient beings without ceasing. They are neither within nor outside the three realms, their minds abiding eternally in the pure and pristine sea of the Tathagata’s true nature, which pervades the essential nature of all beings’ consciousness. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, they manifest in accordance with the minds of others, freely and effortlessly, reigning supreme in the Dharma.
Their engagement in Buddhist practices is like a dream or an illusion, yet they employ great compassion to rescue sentient beings from suffering and accumulate immeasurable merit. The Guru’s sacred virtues are truly worthy of eternal reverence, and no words can fully express their magnificence.
May all beings be blessed with the Guru’s protection and swiftly attain enlightenment, together reaching the ultimate realm of peace and bliss.
