The mentor’s resolving the confusion

Q: Why would I get the defects when seeking others’ faults?

A: Because when you seek others’ faults, you will lose your sense of shame and then bring forth arrogant mind in you. Is it still good to be arrogant? Is it still good to lose your sense of shame? It’s the most obvious. The hatred could easily arise in us when we go to find the errors of others as if we were their chief and policemen, taking them as criminals and then being angry with them, putting them under our surveillance and doing karma. This will be more trouble. When you see the defects of others, you will not feel joyful. Then why must you plant this root which, from the beginning, makes us unhappy and then cause us not to get good results till the end?

Praise our mentor

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have accompanied, led and inspired the demons, shinning like the only sun, outstanding and playing in the triple world at ease.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you treat sentient beings equally with your kind and compassionate mind, without attachment or hatred.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have taught us great wisdom, saying:“The essence determines everything. The different mind creates different effects. If your true purpose is to utilize all people to satisfy yourself, then whatever you learn is to learn how to use others to satisfy yourself. That is to say, how high you learn it, you can’t do it because the essence determines everything.

If you want to help others to obtain achievements, then you will just go and figure it out. You will try to know and understand what you don’t know and understand. You can do a bit what you can’t do because you want to help others to achieve. The effects between the things you do selfishly and the things you do through sacrificing yourself to make others achieve are different, which also determines whether you can succeed or fail.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have scolded severely, saying “Don’t make random comments habitually because it is putting up a barrier which will prevent you from achieving at these points forever.”

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because, according to our capacities, you have led and inspired sentient beings to study on Internet, positively, joyfully and courageously.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have been possessed of strong good habit of wisdom inherent in birth: “Don’t dare to create bad karma in a blessed place.”

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have been extremely humble, which shames us incomparably.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have pampered us constantly and grasped every opportunity to bestow all kinds of healthy food on us which can prevent diseases.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor. Because of your excellent preservation, every time I can outdo myself.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have preached the subtle and fragrant Dharma which is precise, pure and involving the true self. I swear that I can have pure faith in what you have taught without any doubt and rejoice, understand, enter and dwell in it at once. The Dharma which I have accepted from you will be appropriate to time, scene and person, and will be used subtly and without any obstruction.
