The teaching of our mentor

White spirit
Many people think that white spirit they drink is transparent and clean. There is no any impurity in it. In fact, after you really penetrate it, you will get to know that spirit all is through fermentation first and then through distillation. All of you can survey what is called fermentation. That is this kind of yeast fungus who produces feces which can become spirit though refining. If there is no yeast’s feces, where can you find the spirit is? Can single grain be turned into spirit? It can only be produced from the corpse and feces of the yeast through refining. Can you say that is clean? Every eating, drinking and playing is not clean, but sentient beings all consider it clean.

I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you can remember all important things and forget the unimportant things.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, for being afraid of the Ten Bad Karma deeply，you don’t dare to do bad karma to the Triple Jewel.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because in childhood, you have the wisdom of analyzing, sorting, concluding and summary.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have the wisdom to penetrate everything, knowing your way in and out, discerning people’s intentions and then according with them correctly and flexibly.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you like researching the Buddhadharma and when immersing yourself in it, you forget time, people and things.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you are versed in grasping the principles and key point, saying “You can succeed in what you believe”.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have no mind of stealing from others and no unhealthy idea. You apply your mind skillfully, only finding people’s merits and virtues and transforming their faults.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you have deep good roots and excellent causes and conditions, unintentionally offering yourself to the buddhas and bodhisattvas and showing them your love and awe naturally.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you practice pure immovable conduct, saying “Don’t ask what people don’t want to talk so that we can’t do the offenses of peeking.”
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you teach us the principles of this world and of out-of-this-world, saying “You can only have the foothold when you don’t want to get something.”
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, though you are an extreme powerful person, you worry about foolish children and stand hunger, difficulties and poverty with them in order to approach them and cause them to feel at ease.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you gladden sentient beings, lead them to cultivate bliss, understand the meaning of the Dharma, master your own fate and get out of afflictions with great joy.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because your lyrics and poems are elegant and your profound Buddha’s teachings have become wonderful chapters.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you are the supreme sculptor, you can carve a hard stone carefully and make it fine jade finally.
I praise you endlessly, our mentor, because you abide in your true mind, emit great light, illuminate thousands of worlds and protect everything with the best solemnity.
I pray for your protection and teachings, our mentor. May my praise be not against my identity and not tarnish your merits and virtues.
