I. Phenomena When Humans Break Through Material Limitations
Entering Meditative Absorption (Samadhi) correctly means no longer following thoughts, emotions, and impulses[1] . As the key to unlocking transcendent powers, it can activate our latent potential and allow us to achieve what ordinary people often consider “supernatural powers.”
In the process of maintaining this practice correctly and continuously, we may encounter unusual phenomena or experiences. In reality, these are signs that our inherent wisdom and hidden abilities have been activated.
To make it easier to understand, each stage and phenomenon we discuss evolves from an initial crude, clumsy, and temporary manifestation into a final state that is subtle, precise, and naturally effective.
It is much like after we are born: we know how to hear before we know how to speak. After hearing a great deal, we constantly mimic expressions—mimicking them countless times—until finally, by chance, we utter a single word. Through repeated confirmation, it eventually solidifies into our language, yet we still cannot express our thoughts at will. Only through a process of continuous imitation, practice, and verification, once fully mastered, can we use language to express our true intent.
1. Physical Transcendence of External Obstacles
First, we will discover that the fundamental structure of our body has undergone a change; the barriers between the body and external objects have vanished.
Using the faculty of sight as an explanation: our vision gradually breaks through the obstacles of light and shadow, distance, time, space, and physics, eventually reaching a level of vision that manifests according to the mind’s desire.
However, during this time, do not become arrogant or immersed in delusions, such as: “I have this power now, how wonderful! I can walk through walls into my friend’s room and surprise him! I can go directly to any location I want without taking a detour…”
Why must we not indulge in such delusions? Because this phenomenon does not mean we have truly mastered this potential; it is only a temporary manifestation. If we become distracted or negligent, it will disappear.
Please remember that this is merely a coincidental phenomenon encountered during the activation of transcendent powers (various forms of wisdom and latent abilities). If, at this moment, we are deceived by these supernatural phenomena, abuse this power, or operate with wrong thoughts, it will lead to harming ourselves or others! Furthermore, at this stage, we are like a toddler standing up for the first time—we will inevitably fall, or even get stuck and find it difficult to escape. Therefore, it is best not to use this ability at will[2] .
2. Clear Perception of the Body’s Internal Structure
As we continue forward, we will experience another transcendent phenomenon (intellectual potential and power): the initial stage of unobstructed vision. This ability allows us to see the internal condition of our own body even more clearly than an X-ray or ultrasound scan. Without any instruments, we can clearly see our internal structure, including every organ, every bone, every blood vessel, and even every parasite inside the body.
Not only can we see, but we also experience a higher level of transcendent phenomena: the ability to pass through our own body without causing any harm.
For example, if we feel that parasites are too repulsive, we can reach our hand inside our own body, grab them, and throw them away. Our hand and body will not be injured; there is no feeling of pain or itching—it is done as naturally as that. This sounds miraculous!
Remember, this is only a coincidental phenomenon in the process of activating transcendent powers (wisdom and latent energy). If you believe you have already achieved ultimate success at this point, you will lose your way and fail to attain the True Fruit (Enlightenment). This is only a temporary manifestation; we do not yet have the ability to distinguish between the real and the illusory, nor do we know how to properly use and control it. Therefore, it is best not to use it arbitrarily to avoid falling into one-sided obsession and paranoia (i.e., *deviated path* or *fire in the heart)![3]
