Let Go of the Past

We all face hurt, betrayal, and unfairness in life. But staying stuck in “what was” only keeps the pain alive.

The Story of the Sixth Patriarch tells us: When Huineng was framed and facing the brink of death, his mentor arrived with a profound truth:

“Already passed — do not think about it anymore.”

Whether it is harm from others or our own losses, once it is over, you can gain nothing more from it. Dwelling on it only pulls you back into turmoil. What truly matters is what you are thinking right now.

Your current thoughts are the seeds of your future reality. Every moment, watch your mind carefully — because the intentions you nurture today will directly shape the life you experience tomorrow.

The Path to Peace

“Let go of the past.
Guard your present mind.
Walk lightly toward freedom.”
