The Delusional Series: Part 10 –19 Inner Journey 4
Such imaginations, travelling over space and time, mix things up randomly:
Sentient beings, in their delusion, transcend time and space, haphazardly piecing together fragments of experience. They act in ways that are inappropriate, losing mindfulness, and disregarding proper boundaries.
Just because they are the Ignorance itself:
When delusions become intertwined and personalized, they take over the mind, dominating all thoughts, feelings, and actions. This manifests as the construction of elaborate fantasies, where the individual mistakenly believes they are the author of their thoughts. However, these thoughts are merely products of delusion, a pathological condition that has plagued sentient beings since time immemorial.
While the sentient beings from endless beginning follow such imaginations, the demons:
fueled by the afflictions of greed, hatred, delusion, pride, and doubt.
However they collect, the imaginations are still false and illusory:
No matter how one gathers, seeks, or weaves together illusory fragments, they remain mere illusions. Sentient beings perpetually enact these illusory dramas.
The sentient beings never know that the feelings are just illusions:
The sensations arising from the six senses interacting with the six objects leave imprints, or memories, in the mind. Through conditioning, these imprints become solidified into consciousness. The mind arbitrarily defines these sensations as good or bad, reinforcing its own perceptions. Sentient beings are deeply attached to sensations, constantly seeking and creating them. When they experience pleasurable sensations, greed arises, leading to the eight sufferings and countless other afflictions.
That the Imaginations are always writing:
Delusions are like dust motes clinging to the mind, mere conditioning and fragments of memory. Fueled by greed, anger, delusion, pride, and doubt, they weave intricate patterns, yet they are external to the true self.
Is it possible to succeed going against the rules?
Sand is not the essence of rice; it cannot be transformed into rice.
All of the sentient beings wrongly take False Thinking as themselves:
Delusions and sensations are merely fabrications woven from the threads of conditioning and fragmented memories. These fabrications give rise to countless sufferings. One must not mistakenly identify with them. The true self is the master that initiates delusions, sensations, and impulses. By directing these energies, one can cultivate or subdue them. To judge one’s nature based on conditioned perceptions is to compound error upon error.
